Debbie Reynolds, 84, has suffered a suspected stroke.
Star Wars legend Fisher died yesterday days after suffering a heart attack.
It is understood the veteran entertainer was planning her daughter’s’ funeral at her son Toddd Fisher’s home in Beverly Hills, California, when she fell ill.
Carrie Fisher played one of her biggest roles as Princess Leia in Star Wars. She filmed scenes for the latest Star Wars Episode VIII due out in 2017 before her tragic death on 27th December 2016
The mum-of-two collapsed at around 1pm local time.
She remains in hospital.
After her daughter’s death, the star wrote on Facebook: “Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter.
“I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop.”
Ms Reynolds rose to fame aged just 19 when she portrayed Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain in 1952. She enjoyed successes as a huge Hollywood star in the 1950s in Bundle of Joy, Susan Slept Here and other films.
She was also a leading lady in a number of Hollywood musicals, including The Unsinkable Molly Brown in 1964.
