The Star Wars legend’s death on Tuesday shocked the world following a heart attack on board an airplane.
Carrie’s autopsy was reportedly put on hold after her family requested time to grieve following a double tragedy, as Carrie’s mum Debbie Reynolds died just 24 hours after her daughter from a stroke.
The family hopes to plan a joint funeral for the pair.
“We like the idea [of a joint funeral], if it’s at all possible. I think it’s appropriate”

“I’m going out right now to look at places. We like the idea, if it’s at all possible. I think it’s appropriate.”
Debbie had told Todd in the moments before she died that she wanted to be with Carrie.
It is understood Fisher, who was only 60 when she died, had not left any instructions for her funeral, while her 84-year-old mum had “meticulously” planned hers and wanted to be buried in a large plot owned by the family.
