“ I’m not happy with my swastika-embroidered slippers and that I certainly won’t be wearing them”
Sam Purdie was left fuming after the slippers, delivered by Amazon, came with a very distinctive pattern on the soles.
As shown in the image, the pattern on the soles looks to be forming several swastikas, the symbol of the Nazi army.
And Mr Purdie was left even more angry after his review, where he attempted to warn customers, was censored by Amazon.

The 81-year-old, from Perth, Scotland, said the navy slippers looked respectable online, and was completely shocked when they arrived on his doorstep.
He also said: “I ordered a pair of slippers which on first examination looked good, but when they arrived I realised they had swastikas all over the soles.”
He added that this was the first time he had ordered Jo & Joe branded slippers, which were supplied by Burnley-based LJ&R Footwear.
Sam has also accused Amazon of trying to hid the soles by only showing customers the top of the shoes.
He said: “You could absolutely notice the pattern right away.
“They looked good on Amazon, but they were of course very careful not to show you the soles of the slippers.
“I am a regular customer with Amazon and they usually ask you to give them a review of products, so I did.
“I wrote that I was not happy with my swastika-embroidered slippers and that I certainly won’t be wearing them.”
The Burnley footwear company said that this was the first time the design, which had been developed in China, had been brought to their attention.
A spokeswoman added: ““Any resemblance to the sign in question is purely coincidental. It is a honeycomb maze pattern.”
